Goodbye Liberty Amendments Mural Commemorative Event
3:30 p.m. at Vienna Town Hall (Council Chambers)
*Note this event has been moved indoors to the Council Chambers at Vienna Town Hall due to the heat advisory. There will be an opportunity to take photos at the Mural after the commemorative ceremony.
As we look forward to construction of the new Vienna-Carter Library on the current, Patrick Henry Library site, it’s time to say goodbye to the very special, temporary Liberty Amendments Month mural that was installed on the Center Street side of the exterior wall of the library in 2022. Join Fairfax County Public Libraries, the Town of Vienna, the Vienna Public Art Commission and the Vienna Business Association for a chance to officially bid the mural farewell and recognize the importance of public art.
