A break from school doesn’t mean that the fun and learning have to stop. When Fairfax County Public Schools go on spring, summer, or winter break, turn to the Town of Vienna Parks and Recreation camp options to keep kids’ bodies moving, minds engaged, and creativity flowing.
Discover new and exciting opportunities that await in our Summer Camp Guide, available seasonally. Register for camps online or at the Vienna Community Center. Summer Camp FAQ's are updated regularly with important information on policy and procedures.
Cancellation and refund policies
The parks and recreation department reserves the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be given. Cancellations typically are made two weeks before a session begins, so be sure to register early to reserve your spot.
Refunds
Camp fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Refund requests received at least 14 days prior to the camp start date are subject to a 50% penalty, or a $100 maximum per camp session. No refunds or credits are provided for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the start of camp unless a doctor’s note is provided and the vacant spot can be filled. Once the vacant spot is filled and paid, a full refund will be issued.
Transfers
A camp or program transfer request may be made at least 14 days prior to the start of camp without a penalty. No transfers are permitted within 14 days of camp start.
For other camp details or questions about any camp-related programs, see the Town's current Parks and Recreation Programs and Events Guide or call 703-255-6360.
Inclement weather policy
Weather-related decisions regarding outdoor camps will be made at least one hour prior to the start of camp. Late cancellations may occur due to unpredictable weather conditions.
Camps will be rescheduled when possible. For camps that cannot be rescheduled, a credit will be given for the day.
