Dogs registered to Town of Vienna residents DO NOT need a Fairfax County dog license.

dogsDogs older than four months must be vaccinated against rabies and licensed annually with the Town of Vienna. Tags are sold only upon presentation of a certificate that the dog’s rabies inoculation, administered by a licensed veterinarian, is up to date.

Cats older than three months also must be vaccinated against rabies but are not required to be licensed.
