The 300 block of Glyndon Street, NE, is an existing "shoulder and ditch" roadway with minimal drainage infrastructure.  In heavy rains, stormwater flows across the street and floods private property on the west side.  Work on the project was paused until additional funding was available.  In 2024, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) provided the necessary funds to complete the design and fund the construction.  This project includes curb and gutter on both sides of the roadway and sidewalk on the south side of the roadway from Ayr Hill Avenue to Jean Place.  Note:  work in front of the Glyndon Park parking lot is not included with this project.  Modifications to the parking lot, if any, will be made by Parks and Recreation.  New storm drain pipes and inlets will be constructed within the project limits.

A separate project, Church Street, NE, Sidewalk Improvement Project, includes construction of curb, gutter and sidewalk on Glyndon Street from Ayr Hill Avenue to Maple Avenue.
