Block parties offer a wonderful way to get outside, mingle with neighbors, and have a good time among Town families.

During a party, one block of a road is closed to allow neighbors to more freely socialize and to provide children with a safe area to play.

Applying to host a block party is easy. Just complete a Block Party Permit and submit it to the town manager, per the form’s instructions.

Remember:

• Applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event, and at least three weeks is recommended.
• Applicants must reside on the block being closed for the party.
• Applications must include a petition signed by all residents on the block – there are no exceptions.
